Welcome to the Lab, Noor!

We are excited to welcome our new graduate student, Noor Ameer Hanoon, to the lab.

Noor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Biotechnology and a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Technology. Her previous research focused on bacterial prevalence, antimicrobial resistance, and the effects of medicinal plant extracts on pathogenic bacteria. Through her PhD training in Immunology, she aims to deepen her understanding of immune defense mechanisms and host–pathogen interactions, with the goal of contributing to advances in immunological research and therapeutic development.

We are delighted to have Noor join the lab and look forward to her future contributions to the fields of immunoengineering and translational medicine.
