Congratulations to Biological Sciences Undergraduate Student Brooklyn Stenhoff for receiving the Dean’s Undergraduate Research Scholar (URS) award for this spring 2026. This program, designed for juniors and seniors, aims to promote and elevate the visibility of undergraduate research within the College of Engineering and Computing. Each scholar receives a $2,000 scholarship and a $500 research budget per semester to support their faculty-mentored projects.

We are excited to share that our project has been selected for the Fall 2025 Ignition Grant Initiative (IGI) . This seed funding will support the early development of our research and help us advance toward competitive external submissions.

The Yazdi Lab welcomes Ana, Brooklyn, Grace, Jadyn, Lydia, Sarah, Sindhujaa and Sophia, who have recently joined our team. They will contribute to our personalized cancer nanovaccine development projects, focusing on advancing innovative immunoengineering strategies to enhance antitumor immune responses.

We’re thrilled to welcome Ayele, Busola, Kaiden, Lillian, Lucy, Martha and Tristan to the lab this semester! They will be working on projects related to biomaterials for bone tissue regeneration. We’re excited to have them join our growing team and look forward to their discoveries!
