I hold a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and an M.Sc. in Polymer Engineering, with a specialization in nanocomposites. My research at Oklahoma State University focused on developing biodegradable materials for bone tissue regeneration. I earned a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Utah, where I investigated how nanoparticles’ physicochemical properties influence protein corona composition and immunotoxicity. Following postdoctoral training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in drug delivery systems for cancer immunotherapy, I now lead the Advanced Immunoengineering for Translational Medicine Laboratory at Missouri S&T, where we aim to translate innovative therapies into clinical applications. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, biking, and spending time with my family.
