The Yazdi Lab has been awarded National Cancer Institute (NCI) K22 Career Transition Award from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This award supports the establishment of the lab's independent research program at Missouri University of Science and Technology and advances the development of personalized nanovaccine-based immunotherapies for triple-negative breast cancer. The project focuses on engineering tumor cell membrane-coated nanovaccines that, when combined with radiotherapy, enhance anti-tumor immune responses and improve treatment outcomes for patients with aggressive breast cancer.
